forrest gump did it. so did bobby boucher in the water boy.
Varies from state to state but in Oklahoma teens 14 to 16 can operate farm machinery in conjunction with the practice of farming wihout a liscence.
WELL WE DRIVE TRUCKS WITH FARM USE ONLY ON THEM BUT A DRIVER’S LICENSE IS STILL NECESSARY WHEN YOU DRIVE TO TOWN TO GET GAS AND SUPPLIES.
you do not need a driver’s license to drive a tractor anywhere, highway or other and there is basically no age limit to driving a tractor on the highway or other.
It depends on your state laws, so I can’t give you a ‘fact’ without knowing your own state’s law.
Most rural states, out in the western US (Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, New Mexico, the Dakotas) all have provisions for young teenagers to drive farm implements for short distances on roads, so long as they stay under, say, 5 mph.
But check with your local state police to be sure.
.
yes you can we have been doing it for years. I’ve been doing it since about 9 years old here in so. Illinois. As long as you are a farmer or the family and using the machinery for farming at that time. No you can’t take the tractor uptown for a drive. But yes you can be on the road.
stone cold fact yes you can i drive mine to the bar lost my lic. this is tex law but i never of a diffrent one may be age limit 14 or so
It varies with each State / Province. In my state you must have a driver license with a “Farm Implement’ endorsement to operate a farm tractor on the public highway.
