Can I use kerosene in my diesel farm tractor?

Edward T asked:

Kerosene is cheaper than diesel since there are no additional taxas on it for highway use. Can I use it in my diesel farm tractor instead of diesel?

Oh No big boom,
Kerosene is too distilled and highly explosive unlike diesel.
You my friend need to look into BIO Diesel. Cheap to filter and run in the tractor. I run it in my little Kubota. I made a small system to do it quick and I have about 20 gallons on hand at any time. I have it set up with Wendy’s and McD’s to get their VEGETABLE OIL when they are done with it.. That’s real important.

You should look for non-highway diesel, you do not pay highway taxes on it.
