First of all many poor countries do not have as much arable land (good farmland) as the devoloped countries, therefore more work. Also, there are not as many people who want to farm rich countries, everyone wants a job that pays well and they have to do as little as possible, as a matter of fact in rich countries there is a shortage of farmers. The final reason is that is is much easier in poor countries to farm, because you can have your own food, and you don't need lots of education. That's basiclly why the labour in agricultre is so high in devoloping countries. This is for many reasons!
